		<description>Great point.  Composure should never mean we don&#039;t display emotions.  We must understand how our reponse will motivate/inspire those we lead.</description>

Reminds me all that has been taught in the military.

It is a rare quality, indeed, to remain composed during crisis.

Yet, I also feel, that leaders should no stop at that. They should also learn to be emotionally intelligent so as to use the right emotion in the right degree to suit the circumstances. E.g., there may even need to show ruthless behaviour during extreme crisis, that may not be possible by remaining composed.

Mindfulness is also a useful art of handling crisis.
